    I am so sorry to say this, and I know I've been spoiled by very refined French/Swiss style pastries when I lived in a big city, but I was so disappointed with these. I wanted desperately to love and reorder them because they're impossible to find online. The frosting was way too thick, not chocolaty enough and not flavorful. The custard tasted VERY commercial, i.e., tasteless; not wonderful egg-custard flavor. Pastry was too chewy instead of a bit crisp.
