This refreshingly cool Key Lime Kringle flavor was created years ago for our July Kringle of the Month at our bakery stores here in Racine. We thought it would either be a hit or we would never make this flavor again. Well, we are still making this surprisingly popular Key Lime Kringle during July. Using key lime juice, we make a tart and creamy filling so enjoyable you will have never tasted key lime like this before. Celebrate this unique tart flavor from the Florida Keys without the trip! Hurry-July only!
This item is only available for shipping from 6/24/2013 to 7/31/2013.

- 1 Key Lime Kringle (1 lb 8 oz)

This was the first time we ordered the Key Lime flavor and I can tell you that we will re-order again before the end of the month! Heated it and served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Love everything from this place! [...]. Not the bakery's fault at all but just be aware if you order and it's 90's to 100's outside. You might want to get the next day shipping option! Other than that, loved it!

It's a kringle, all right
My memory of kringle is a sweet coffee cake. Almond is our favorite (old timers, of course). Gave Key Lime a try, but it just didn't cut it, but worth it anyhow...Read complete review

Breakfast
Was too much of a non-Danish dessert flavor.

Comments about O&H Danish Bakery Key Lime Kringle:
Since I lived in Racine, WI for 48 years I know how delicious kringle is...it was sad to have one shipped to my house being so over priced and then not packaged with the shrink-wrapped plastic to hold it in place. It arrived in bad shape. Since we complained, another one arrived a week later with shrink wrapped packaging to secure it from sliding all over the place...that should always be done considering how much money it costs

Comments about O&H Danish Bakery Key Lime Kringle:
The key lime kringle has the perfect amount of lime taste. It is an excellent snack for summer, we keep it in the fridge. I love many other kringle flavors, but this is the only one that I would describe as 'refreshing'.

Though I wish this were available more often, the fact that it's only available in July makes it that much more special. Congratulations to O&H on a wonderful treat!

Comments about O&H Danish Bakery Key Lime Kringle:
I recently had a Key Lime pie. This Kringle did not have the "bite" that the pie had. It was a tad too light. It needs a stronger key lime flavor.

Great for breakfast, brunch, or served with coffee after any meal. Kringle is also popular for meetings and gatherings. We recommend refrigerating or freezing Kringle when storing. To warm, remove from package and place in a 350 degree oven for approximately 3-minutes or warm, as necessary, in a microwave oven. Cut into 1 or 2-inch slices depending on appetite and occasion. |
